WASHINGTON, D.C. — Recently, Growth Energy, the industry-leading trade association for U.S. ethanol producers and supporters, welcomed Golden Grain Energy LLC as its newest member. In response, Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor issued the following statement:

Golden Grain Energy has been producing ethanol for well over a decade, and we are excited to bring their knowledge, expertise, and passion for advancing the biofuels industry into the fold.”
Dave Sovereign, Chairman and Director of Golden Grain Energy LLC issued a statement, on the decision to join Growth Energy:
“By partnering with Growth Energy, Golden Grain Energy can be a part of consumer education programs, legislative policy development, and overall market expansion efforts for our locally produced products by participating in promotions such as NASCAR, Prime the Pump, and other consumer awareness and educational campaigns.”
Golden Grain Energy LLC began production in December 2004 and is a locally owned ethanol producer with roughly 900 unitholders.
