This week in our “Conversations with Biofuels Champions” summer video series, our CEO Emily Skor visited with one of the co-chairs of the Congressional Biofuels Caucus: U.S. Congressman Rodney Davis of Illinois.

Elected to the House in 2013, Congressman Davis has worked with his colleagues on both sides of the aisle to be an effective lawmaker. He has played an integral role in long-term reauthorizations to upgrade our waterway, highway, railway, and aviation systems.

Additionally, his leadership on two Farm Bill Conference Committees has helped produce farm bills that provide certainty to our farmers, protect crop insurance, strengthen agricultural research, and improve protections for organic products.

Davis lives in Taylorsville, Illinois with his wife, Shannon, and their three children.

We’re grateful for Congressman Davis’ continued support in the House of Representatives and for his advocacy on our issues. Watch the conversation between Congressman Davis and Emily Skor here or by clicking on the image below.

In case you missed it, last week, Skor spoke with Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (D-Ill.). Watch it here.

Next week, we’ll hear from Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.). Be sure to tune in!

"We showed Washington that ethanol is not only essential, but an unsung hero in the effort to eradicate the virus. No other industry is in the same position to revitalize rural America.”
