WASHINGTON, D.C. — Growth Energy CEO Emily Skor made the following statement today after the meeting with President Trump, lawmakers, and industry leaders at the White House.
“We are grateful to the President for giving Growth Energy’s board members an opportunity to set the record straight about the importance of biofuels to our economy and the livelihood of America’s hard-working farmers. The President very clearly understands that the path forward is to allow sales of E15 year-round, promote growth, and put more RINs on the market. The RFS gives homegrown biofuels a chance to compete at the pump, helping to protect consumers from price manipulation and support hundreds of thousands of jobs across the heartland.”

Thanks so much to @NationalFFA for having @EmilySkor speak at their Washington Leadership Conference! What a great group of young students poised to lead #biofuels and rural America into another 10 years of growth and innovation! Can't wait till next year! #10YearsofGrowth https://t.co/tVMiqzeKVb
President Trump committed to #E15YearRound to strengthen rural economies – the EPA is putting his promise in danger. Rural communities are counting on Secretary Perdue to honor the President’s promise and hold the EPA accountable. #RFSworks https://t.co/KeF9CZzdfL @GrowthEnergy
