WASHINGTON, DC – Growth Energy, the leading coalition of U.S. ethanol supporters, today welcomed Adkins Energy LLC as its newest member, bringing Plant Membership to 73, with another 60 Associate Members. Adkins Energy is located in Lena, Illinois.

Through the leadership and foresight of our membership, we have established ourselves as the leading voice for the industry. With the addition of Adkins Energy, we are expanding our ability to educate consumers about ethanol and dispel the misinformation perpetuated by the special interests who don’t want to see ethanol succeed,” said Growth Energy CEO Tom Buis.
Adkins Energy LLC is a corn-to-ethanol production facility which processes approximately 16 million bushels of corn annually into more than 45 million gallons of fuel-grade ethanol.
