Kelly Manning

Senior Vice President of Development

Kelly Manning serves as the Senior Vice President of Development at Growth Energy, where he leads all revenue-related initiatives for the organization. In this role, Kelly oversees the recruitment and retention of bioethanol plants and industry partners, ensuring their continued investment in Growth Energy’s mission. He also manages key programs including the Get Bioethanol–NASCAR partnership, the Get Biofuel consumer campaign, and various industry events and development programs.

Before joining Growth Energy in 2009, Kelly served as General Manager of KSFY-TV, the ABC affiliate in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where he directed daily operations and oversaw the production of local news, weather, and sports content reaching more than half a million viewers each week. He brings a strong background in sales, marketing, and strategic growth to his work in the biofuels industry.

Kelly currently serves on the National FFA Foundation Sponsors Board and has previously served on the boards of Pivot Clean Energy, the Sioux Empire Red Cross, the South Dakota Broadcasters Association, and Sioux Falls Sales and Marketing Executives.

A native of a farm in southeast South Dakota, Kelly understands firsthand the opportunities a strong biofuels industry provides for rural America. He and his wife, Tanya, reside in Sioux Falls, S.D., and are proud parents of two daughters, Raena and Remi.
