Jared’s Capitol Hill experience includes serving as Senior Policy Advisor to Senator Ben Ray Luján of New Mexico, Legislative Director and Deputy Chief of Staff to Congressman TJ Cox of California, and Legislative Assistant to Senator Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota.
Prior to his time on the Hill, Jared worked as a Government Relations Manager with CropLife America. He began his career in Washington after earning a Master’s degree in Public Affairs and dual bachelor’s degrees in Agricultural Economics and Agricultural Education from the University of Missouri.
Raised on his family’s fifth-generation row-crop and cattle farm in Salisbury, Missouri, Jared has maintained a lifelong commitment to agriculture and rural policy.
