Were you watching the race on Sunday night? If not, you missed a good one!
On Feb. 18, Austin Dillon secured a historic Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series win, driving the legendary No. 3 car to victory in the Daytona 500 at the Daytona International Speedway!
This is an amazing accomplishment and a monumental victory for the No. 3 team. The Daytona 500 is so rich with history, and Richard Childress Racing taking home the checkered flag – in this race – in the iconic No. 3 car is truly a momentous occasion in the sport of NASCAR. Austin Dillon and the entire RCR organization have been phenomenal partners, and they are instrumental in telling the wonderful story of American Ethanol to race fans and drivers across the country and around the world.
Everyone here at Growth Energy is incredibly proud of Austin. He is one of NASCAR’s brightest stars and most exciting athletes, and more than anything we are thrilled for him. He and his team have worked very hard for this moment, and we are overjoyed to see them standing in Victory Lane at the biggest race in NASCAR!
This win comes 20 years after Dale Earnhardt, Sr., won the Daytona 500 for Richard Childress Racing, so this is a truly special victory for the entire RCR family. Be sure to congratulate Austin on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram (@austindillon3) and RCR (@RCRRacing on Twitter and Instagram and @RichardChildressRacing on Facebook) using the #Daytona500 hashtag! I joined @SenJohnThune @ChuckGrassley @SenJoniErnst @SenatorFischer & @RoyBlunt in a letter to @realDonaldTrump to request the EPA change its proposed rule to restore integrity to the Renewable Fuel Standard. 15 billion gallons means 15 billion gallons. https://t.co/veBkthgGki
Reminder to all Iowans: The deadline to submit public comments on the @EPA’s supplemental rule is Nov. 29. 15 billion gallons means 15 billion gallons, and Iowa’s farmers and producers are counting on it. Express your support for upholding the #RFS here: https://t.co/R3MA4qz3s8
