WASHINGTON, DC — Next Tuesday morning, September 15, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will address Growth Energy’s sixth annual Advocacy Conference in Washington, D.C. at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill. Directly following Secretary Vilsack’s speech, Growth Energy CEO Tom Buis and Growth Energy Board of Directors Co-Chair, Jeff Broin will hold an industry press conference.
Later that afternoon, Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy will also address the Growth Energy conference.
Both events are open to the press, however the question and answer sessions following Secretary Vilsack’s and Administrator McCarthy’s remarks are for Growth Energy members only.

Directly following Secretary Vilsack’s remarks, a press availability with Jeff Broin, Executive Chairman of POET and co-chairman of Growth Energy’s Board of Directors, and Tom Buis, CEO of Growth Energy, will be held to discuss current industry topics, including industry priorities, the importance of E15 and protecting the RFS from any statutory, legislative or legal changes.
WHEN: Tuesday, Sept. 15. Secretary Vilsack’s remarks will begin at 10:00 a.m. ET. The Growth Energy industry press conference will begin at 10:30 a.m. ET, and Administrator McCarthy’s remarks will begin at 12:30 p.m. ET.
