WASHINGTON, DC – Growth Energy, the coalition of U.S. ethanol supporters, today welcomed a new associate member to its growing list of supporters. Fagen Inc. will join Growth Energy’s growing team of 69 Plant Members and 55 Associate Members to help further expand the production of domestic ethanol as a means to decrease our dependence on foreign oil and create American jobs right here at home.
“We are honored to add Fagen Inc. to our organization,” said Growth Energy CEO Tom Buis. “Fagen has worked on construction and design projects for a number of our plant members, so adding them to the team makes perfect sense. This is an exciting time for the ethanol industry and with Fagen on board, we will be even better equipped to address the challenges and opportunities we will face in the coming years.”
Fagen Inc., located in Granite Falls, Minn., is the largest, most respected green energy design-builder in the U.S. Though their main focus is industrial construction, Fagen is also heavily involved in local, agricultural grassroots initiatives. The company has a database of more than 25,000 highly skilled craft workers nationwide who cover all areas of civil, mechanical, structural steel, and electrical construction.
“We are thrilled to be Growth Energy’s newest Associate Member,” said Ron Fagen, President and CEO of Fagen Inc. “Growth Energy has continuously demonstrated their leadership within the ethanol community and we really like the vision, organization, and direction of the company. We look forward to working with the Growth Energy team to help educate Americans across the country about the benefits of ethanol.”
