WASHINGTON, DC – Growth Energy, the coalition of U.S. ethanol supporters, today welcomed Arkalon Energy, LLC, as a new plant member. With the addition of Arkalon, Growth Energy’s total plant membership rises to 67. Growth Energy also has 46 Associate Members and more than 29,000 individual Growth Force Members.
“We are fortunate to add Arkalon Energy to our growing team to help extend the reach of our message and help us achieve our goals of making America cleaner, greener and economically secure through renewable energy,” said Growth Energy CEO Tom Buis.
Arkalon Energy, LLC, located in Liberal, Kan., is sister plants with Growth Energy plant member Bonanza Bioenergy in Garden City, Kan. Both plants are members of Conestoga Energy Partners. Arkalon Energy is a 110 million gallon plant that also produces wet distillers grains. The plant employs 47 workers.
