As Vice President of Market Development, Mike O’Brien leverages public and private resources to help fuel retailers distribute higher blends of ethanol. With more choice at the pump, consumers benefit from lower fuel costs while supporting a homegrown fuel that creates U.S. jobs and reduces carbon emissions. O’Brien has more than 20 years of business-to-business global marketing experience in the retail and energy industries. Previously, he launched and led the global development of marketing and communications for value-added agricultural products, like NatureWorks PLA.
O’Brien is a graduate of Iowa State University and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics with a minor in marketing.
