Joe Kakesh joined Growth Energy in 2018 as its General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.  After moving to D.C. over two decades ago to pursue graduate studies in philosophy, he soon realized that his passion lay in law and policy.  Prior to joining Growth Energy, Joe worked in the environmental law practices of the law firms Wiley Rein LLP and Arnold & Porter LLP.  He has significant experience with the Clean Air Act and other regulatory programs administered by EPA and other federal and state agencies that regulate the biofuels industry.
