Joe Kakesh joined Growth Energy in June 2018 and has significant legal experience with trade associations and regulatory programs administered by EPA and other agencies. Prior to joining Growth Energy, he worked in the environmental law practices of Wiley Rein LLP and Arnold & Porter LLP.  After moving to D.C. to pursue graduate studies in philosophy from Georgetown University, he realized that his passion lay in law and policy, and he is excited to be working in the biofuels industry.
